The Tennessee General Assembly has once again expanded the definition of Small Business Enterprises (SBE) that desire to participate in State of Tennessee's procurement opportunities. Small Businesses may receive certification with the Governor's Office of Diversity Business Enterprise. Senate Bill No. 170 revised the definition of a Small Business Enterprise (SBE). Tennessee small business means"a business that is a continuing, independent, for pro t business which performs a commercially useful function with residence in Tennessee (except rms with an existing certification) and has total gross receipts of no more than ten million dollars ($10,000,00) averaged over a three-year period or employs no more than ninety-nine (99) persons on a full-time basis".Ahieros has undergo and successfully completed the rigidities of the state of Tennessee Governor's Office of Diversity Business Enterprise certification process.
